Self-doubt crept into your system as a baby. As toddlers, we all looked at the power our folks had and thought: “Gotta be like them.” This wish isn’t the problem; putting our parents on pedestals is. It’s complex, but from the moment we crave power akin to what we feel our parents have, we continually contrast our sense of self with our ego ideal—an imagined, perfect self, derived from our image of our “super-powerful” parents. Since no one can live up to the standards set by ego ideals, we spend the rest of our lives (to greater or lesser degrees), plagued by doubt. This is irrational, of course, but true.
There’s a school of psychotherapy—called “acceptance therapy”—based on the insight that admitting you suffer from a problem reduces the distress it can cause. (Conversely, denying the existence of a problem, or beating yourself up for having a flaw, is always debilitating.) Everyone, even superstars, feels like a fake or failure at times. We all have imperfections. Recognizing that those whom you admire most have them, too, is the trick.
You’re probably not done with Step 2 yet. Chances are that real acceptance won’t kick in without sharing your anxiety with someone you trust. Think you’ll flub a presentation? Give one to friends. Doubt you command respect? Ask someone you admire (but don’t report to) if all is okay. Worst case is that whomever you confide in will give you negative feedback that you can use to improve. Admitting what plagues you (and then learning that others feel the same way) will help you realize that while self-doubt is vexing, no one dies from it.
If a claustrophobic person gets stuck in an elevator, it’s hard for them to focus on the certainty that, any minute now, it will be moving again. Fear and panic simply take over. The same tendency is true with self-doubt, but unlike with claustrophobia, a few hard facts can help. Example: If you’ve been promoted somewhat recently, remind yourself why you were tapped. Make a list of all your valuable skills and accomplishments. Read them aloud if you have to. But–and this important–don’t lean on a prepackaged pep talk, a la the old Stuart Smalley character on “Saturday Night Live.” False self-praise will do more damage than self-doubt.

If possession is nine-tenths of the law, then perception is 100% of the truth. A dreadful event can be made manageable if you tell yourself you have the stuff to cope with it. Remember that.
Step 6. Confront Your Fear…
Okay, for most people, that last Jedi mind trick isn’t enough. Fear, no matter its source, is a formidable adversary. That’s why you have to pick a fight with it. William Jennings Bryan claimed, “The way to develop self-confidence is to do the thing you fear.” Setbacks are inevitable–suck it up. (For some help there, see How To Bounce Back From Failure.) Resilience is the steel skeleton of self-confidence.
Step 7. …But Choose Your Battles
Specifically, this means taking on challenges that areegosyntonic–that’s shrink-speak for behaviors and feelings that match your view of who you are. It is much easier to boost self-confidence by confronting challenges of your choosing than by tackling what someone else tells you to do. If you pick the battles you engage in because you believe in their aims, your self-confidence will increase along with your winning percentage.
Nothing erodes self-confidence like shooting fish in a barrel. Add more challenge to every task you tackle and your self-confidence will grow in lockstep. Level off for too long and you’ll be on the slick slope to burnout.
“How am I doin’?” may a good question for politicians to ask their constituents, but it’s a bad question for those looking to boost confidence—mainly because it smacks of insecurity and probably won’t lead to honest feedback.
In all things, too much is no good. That goes for self-confidence, too. Believe in yourself–just don’t be a jerk about it.
Junos is based on FreeBSD OS. Its modified light FreeBSD. Since its FreeBSD, we can enter the OS and running CLI from shell. You have to enter shell mode using command “start shell”. Once you enter shell mode, issue “cli” command.

Actually for managing router, we dont need this command. But in some condition I need this command to get some bulk information. Imagine if you need to grab all complete routing tables with its attributes on Internet router, and you do it on CLI mode i.e. “run show route extensive”, I believe you will wait more than 1 hour. This command will help you to get bulk information. You can write the output to specific file.

Its been quite long since I did not follow any certification update again. Someone told me that now JNCIE-M/T series is converted to JNCIE-SP. Hmm, same name with CCIE-SP? Quite interesting.
Then JNCIP-M now start to use Prometric (Not sure prometric or not) based format which is written test. This was also interesting since I passed my JNCIP-M in the bleeding twice lab couple years ago. Many people who passed the JNCIP-M lab told me that JNCIP-M exam was simple and only contains IGP/BGP for most difficult part. However.. I still remember that I was stuck on some simple topic. All ended with beautiful memory, finally.
I just checked from Juniper website that JNCIP-SP covers theory of JNCIE-SP lab, so basically its same with JNCIS-M but maybe having different difficulties level. IP Multicast, L3VPN, L2VPN is there. Quite interesting. JNCIS-SP itself now covering new topic such as IRB interface, Ethernet/VLAN and xSTP. So they did include new topic in all certification.
JNCIE-SP need you to configure 8 routers of MX series. This MX device could bring us many difficulties on lab exam since its support almost Junos feature both L2 and L3. Indeed L2 somehow is more complicated than Layer 3. For example integration of bridge-domain, Virtual-switch, L2 control protocol, and later will be PBB or VPLS. For PBB, its support single, dual tag VLAN. I’m not sure if they already propose this kind of advanced technology in the exam. Compare to my JNCIE-M exam couple years ago, the topic seems much more difficult. I cannot wait to see feedback from candidates who attend this lab exam.
From the information I also notice that there are many new training on Juniper. Now we can see new topic such as Advanced Junos Service Provider Routing (AJSPR), the content is similar with old format of AJNR without MPLS and Multicast. I notice about new training module, Junos Multicast Routing (JMR), this module should be interesting. The training itself will take 2 days, from the topic I think this is a good training, covers ASM, SSM, MLD, MDSP etc. Where is P2MP provider tunnel solution? I did not see it on the web. Anyways, it covers standard of Multicast protocol.
Anyways, good luck for young generation taking this new exam format.

More large delegations in Asia
APNIC continues to delegate large IPv4 networks to organizations in Asia. This makes the global allocation rate skyrocket. Globally, the RIRs delegated almost half a /8 this week so far (Wednesday), this is an extraordinary pace considering the usual pace of slightly over one /8 per month.
Here are some of the most significant delegations made this week so far:
223.32.0.0/11 or about 2 million addresses to SK Telecom in South Korea
14.160.0.0/11 and 14.224.0.0/11 or about a total of 4 million addresses to VietNam Post and Telecom Corporation in Vietnam
14.104.0.0/13 or about 500k addresses to China Telecom Chongqing Province Network
14.8.0.0/13 or about 500k addresses to KDDI corporation in Japan

49/8 and 101/8 allocated by APNIC
As a few readers noticed, APNIC allocated the networks 49/8 and 101/8 from IANA today. This is block number #5 and #6 that has been allocated by APNIC this year. They previously allocated 2 blocks in January and April.
APNIC will probably allocate new blocks again in October. After that, ARIN will probably make the last allocation for the year in November.

New delegations from APNIC
APNIC continues to delegate large IPv4 networks to China and the rest of the region.
The network 223.240.0.0/13 or about half a million addresses was delegated to China Telecom Anhui Province. China Telecom is the largest ISP in the world serving about 55 million customers.
The networks 14.32.0.0/11 and 14.64.0.0/11 totalling around 4 million IPv4 addresses was delegated to Korea Telecom.
A quarter million addresses in the network 223.208.0.0/14 as delegated to Greatwall Broadband Network in China.

APNIC hands out some IPv4
Here is an explanation if you are curios why the predicted depletion date was moved to an earlier date all of the sudden. APNIC made some very large allocations yesterday.
China Mobile allocated a quarter of the 223/8 netblock. This equals about 4 million addresses and the addresses were in the range 223.64.0.0 – 223.127.255.255.
China Telecom allocated about 750 thousand addresses to the Shanxi province in the ranges 1.68.0.0 – 1.71.255.255 and 223.8.0.0 – 223.15.255.255. Additionally they allocated about half a million addresses to the MeiMengGu province in the range 1.180.0.0 – 1.183.255.255 a few days ago.
NTTDoCoMo in Japan allocated the range 1.72.0.0 – 1.79.255.255 or about ½ million addresses.

One more for AfriNIC?
A lot suggest that this will be the case. The table below shows all allocations larger than 50,000 IPv4 that has been allocated this year from AfriNIC’s pool. AfriNIC has about 87% of a /8 block left in their pool today. According to the allocation policy between RIRs and IANA they are allowed to request more space when their current space goes below 50% of one /8. So they will do so if they manage to burn 37% of a /8 before the IANA pool is depleted. Their current burn rate is about 800,000 addresses per month (5% of a /8 per month). Burning 37% of a /8 would in this case take about 7-8 months for them.

LACNIC gets their last IPv4 blocks
Today IANA announced that LACNIC allocated 177/8 and 181/8 from the IANA free pool. This is the ninth and tenth bock allocated to the RIRs from IANA this year. This allocation is with very high probability the last allocation IPv4 of blocks LACNIC ever will make.
We are down to 11 blocks in the central pool. It is now very easy to predict the “end game”. APNIC will most likely allocate 7 of those blocks, RIPE will get another 2 and ARIN will get another 2.
